How to Check your driving test date

Once you have successfully booked your driving test, an email confirmation will be sent from the Driving Standard Agency (DSA) to the email address you provided. However, because of the use of spam filters, driving test confirmation emails can easily be sent as junk or even get deleted. Make sure to have a look at your junk mail folder.

Fortunately, email confirmation is not the only way to know when your driving test date is. Here are the 3 ways you can check for your driving test date and time.

Check your driving test date and time online

This is the easiest and quickest way to check for your big day! To check for the date and time you will need to provide some information. You will need to only provide two of the following pieces of information:

• your application reference number
• your valid Great Britain or Northern Ireland provisional driving licence number
• your theory test pass certificate number

Check driving test date and time by telephone

You can also contact the DSA by giving them a call if you need to check the date and time of your driving test. Although this is an automated service, you will be able to talk to a representative of the DSA if you wait for the available options and select the appropriate one for your requirement.

To check for your driving test date and time you will need to call 0300 200 1122. Their lines are open between 8.00 am and 4.00 pm Monday to Friday. We are warning you, long delays can be experienced on occasions.

Check driving test date and time via email

You can also email the DSA directly to customer.services@dsa.gsi.gov.uk in order to find out your driving test date and time. You will need to include two of the three pieces of information we have listed above in method one, with your email. The DSA may take few days to reply to you.
